T&S at SA Fashion Week

There is no greater time to celebrate South African talent than at SA Fashion week. This is a week when all creatives, media, designers, fashion enthusiasts, stylists, celebrities, buyers and artists get together to celebrate and I suppose criticize South Africa’s talent. Although for the most part, we ‘real people’ stylists find it hard to relate to the coat hanger design and styling seen on the runway, the inspiration and theatrics of Fashion week is always fantastic!

Too be quite honest, the most exciting part of the show was too see what the guests were wearing! Dressed to the nine or wearing that í didn’t try at all look’ it was so interesting to see everyone’s personalities and style aesthetic come through. Here’s a glimpse at what the guests were wearing (stolen off Instagram)

The week was closed by an incredible show - Hospice Wits Night with the stars.

Celebrities, designers, actors, comedians, stylists and big brands all came together to raise awareness for an incredible Charity cause. Hospice Wits provides the much-needed care to patients and their families facing life-limiting illness.  The runway was full of love and contribution, beautiful designs, music and laughter- Cotton on Kids had us all on our feet! We loved every second of the event and will definitely be there next year in support.  A few of the featuring designer’s & brands included:

Puma, Adidas, Cotton on Kids, Juicy Couture, Gert-Johan Coetzee, Poetry, ERRE, Guess and so many more..
